I had the pleasure of photographing Rock For A Reason which is a fundraising event that benefits a charitable cause in the community. The event took place at Duke Ocean Grill in TAPPAN, NY, and drew people from the tri-state area, with the crux of its supporters from BERGEN and ROCKLAND counties.
Rock For A Reason transformed the New York City-esque venue of Duke Ocean Grill into a one-of-a-kind concert hall and dance club, featuring the "roller rink rock band" SPIT-ROAST MUPPET, with DJ MARC and DJ RENZ of IN THE MIX dropping beats between sets, and an opening performance by the POLICE PIPES AND DRUMS OF BERGEN COUNTY.
The unique benefit took place on January 14, 2012, to honor wounded Paramus Police Officer Rachel Morgan and help raise money on her behalf. You can find more information on their website here:
